 Dear Friend of Rakestraw Books,
Before and After — 522 Hartz Avenue — What a difference three months makes! Every morning walking up, I can't help thinking how beautiful it looks with fresh paint, flowers (thank you Jennifer!), a handsome new sign, and perhaps best of all, beautiful new benches. I hope you all are enjoying the transformation as much as we are.
Looking ahead into July, we are excited to present several terrific author appearances — including two fine literary novelists, dinner with a farmer-writer, and a spirited conversation about sex. Check it all out and join us for one of these special events. I promise that you'll love it.
And, we're also excited to recommend all sorts of great new books. This month's selection is particularly exciting — Michael, Julie, Drew and Caroline have been reading up a storm. And, if none of these appeals, come into the shop and let us help you choose a new favorite.
