Your whole family is invited to join Rakestraw Books for an evening of books, stories, music, and silliness with two of today's most beloved children's book creators, writer Mac Barnett and illustrator Shawnn Harris.
This special event will take place on Saturday, 14 October 2023 at 5 PM (doors open at 4:30) at Danville Congregational Church.
During this entertaining (we promise you will love it as much as your kids!) visit, Mac and Shawn will be presenting their new novel, The First Cat in Space and the Soup of Doom. There will be time for questions from the audience and a chance to meet both Mac and Shawn and have your picture taken.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to come in costume (remember Halloween is only two weeks later!). We will have a special button for everyone who comes in costume.
Each ticket includes admission for three family members and an autographed copy of The First Cat in Space and the Soup of Doom.
