This year's Book Group Festival is our 13th annual celebration of books, book groups, and writing. As always it is inspired by the powerful belief that sharing stories with each other is incredibly important. Even though we may feel disconnected from each other -- our busy lives and years of separation -- coming together to discuss a great book, our lives, and values is more important than ever.

Every great book group needs great books to discuss and that's where we come in! During the course of this year's presentations, our team of book nerds will present a terrific array -- some new and some not-so-new -- of books worth reading and worth discussing. We promise your group will go away fired up to read beyond the bestseller list and TikTok!

This year's event will be presented in-person only on Saturday, 3 June 2023 at 9:30 AM here at the bookshop. For the first time since 2019, we are delighted to welcome a bestselling author as our guest of honor at the Festival. This year's guest, novelist Steven Rowley, will be sharing his eagerly-anticipated new novel, The Celebrants, as well as signing books for members of the audience. Read more The Celebrants here.

Tickets for this special event are $20. Each ticket will include three -- one for $10 (towards a hardcover book) and two for $5 coupons (towards paperback books). Book purchases can be made in person.
